You think the last 4 years were bad…It’s just the beginning…

Conservative blogs are literally on fire over alleged comments made by Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Obama and one of his closest friends, who was recently addressing other Obama senior staffers…

“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time.
Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve.”

Jarrett, who is considered the single-most influential person in Obama’s White House, says of her relationship with the President that the two think alike. “We have kind of a mind meld… what he wants to do is what I’d want to do.”

Jarrett’s alarming rant continued…

“There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”

Valerie Jarrett’s comments are a chilling forecast of things to come for conservatives and people of faith if Obama is given another four years in the White House!

We can’t let up now!

Take from the rich and from the poor

Great quotes from one of our readers:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

al-Qa’ida on the run?

The United States State Department issues a comprehensive report on terrorism each year. These are excerpts from the 2011 Country Reports on Terrorism. You can view the index of the full report here. Anyone who has followed the election campaigns recently remembers how our President likes to tout the killing of bin Laden and how “al-Qa’ida is on the run!’ This report seems to contradict that claim in great detail…

The loss of bin Ladin and these other key operatives puts the network on a path of decline that will be difficult to reverse. These successes are attributable, in large part, to global counterterrorism cooperation, which has put considerable pressure on the al-Qa’ida core leadership in Pakistan. But despite blows in western Pakistan, al-Qa’ida, its affiliates, and its adherents remain adaptable. They have shown resilience; retain the capability to conduct regional and transnational attacks; and, thus, constitute an enduring and serious threat to our national security.

The exact word that Obama used to describe al-Qa’ida in the Third Presidential Debate last night was “decimated.”

With the United States withdrawal of its final forces from Iraq, Iraqi Security Forces have continued to confront the al-Qa’ida affiliate there, showing substantial capability against the group. Al-Qa’ida in Iraq (AQI) suffered leadership losses and continued to fail to mobilize a Sunni community that turned decisively against it after the carnage in the previous decade. However, AQI is resilient, as noted by its intermittent high-profile attacks in country, and likely to carry out additional attacks into the foreseeable future. In fact, towards the end of 2011, AQI was believed to be extending its reach into Syria and seeking to exploit the popular uprising against the dictatorship of Bashar al-Asad.

There’s something that Obama has in common with al-Qa’ida there…our President also supports the removal of Bashar al-Asad. Once Asad is removed, will a pro-radical Islamic group take over? From the transcript of the Debate last night…

PRESIDENT OBAMA: What we’ve done is organize the international community, saying Assad has to go. We’ve mobilized sanctions against that government. We have made sure that they are isolated…Now, this — what we’re seeing taking place in Syria is heartbreaking, and that’s why we are going to do everything we can to make sure that we are helping the opposition. But we also have to recognize that, you know, for us to get more entangled militarily in Syria is a serious step.

Now back to the Countries Reports on Terrorism from the State Department to find out who is supporting the other side…

During the wave of pro-democracy demonstrations in Syria, Iran provided weapons and training to assist the Asad regime in its brutal crackdown that has resulted in the death of more than 5,000 civilians.

Here is some more of what this State Department report has to say about Iran…

Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, continues to undermine international efforts to promote peace and democracy and threatens stability, especially in the Middle East and South Asia. Its use of terrorism as an instrument of policy was exemplified by the involvement of elements of the Iranian regime in the plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador in Washington, a conspiracy that the international community strongly condemned through a UN General Assembly resolution in November.

Despite its pledge to support the stabilization of Iraq, in 2011 Iran continued to provide lethal support – including weapons, training, funding, and guidance – to Iraqi Shia militant groups that targeted U.S. and Iraqi forces. Iran also continued to provide weapons, training, and funding to Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups, including Palestine Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command. Since the end of the 2006 Israeli-Hizballah conflict, Iran has provided significant quantities of weaponry and funding to Hizballah, in direct violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.

Just the other day news stories came out that President Obama is engaged in 1 on 1 talks with Iran. Maybe they’ll agree to “not pursue nuclear weapons” again, since we know they can be trusted. There is a direct link between al-Queda and Iran also, which leads us to wonder…are sanctions enough to stop them? They are obviously not any more hesitant to support terrorism or pursue nuclear capabilities. Our President does not seem willing to move past sanctions to stop Iran’s growing and destabilizing influence in the Middle East. The Iranians are actively working against our interests, supporting terrorism, and vowing to “wipe Israel off the map.” Here’s some information about how cooperative Iran has been with our War on Terror…

In 2011, Iran remained unwilling to bring to justice senior AQ members it continued to detain, and refused to publicly identify those senior members in its custody. It also allowed AQ members to operate a core facilitation pipeline through Iranian territory, enabling AQ to carry funds and move facilitators and operatives to South Asia and elsewhere.

AQ stands for al-Qa’ida, or al-Queda. Sure looks like the Iranians are helping us out. Is it possible for democracy to spread to this region when radical Islam and terrorism are actively being spread by our enemies unchecked? Has the Obama Administration resigned itself to letting Israel exist as the sole democracy in the Middle East? We still send billions of dollars in foreign aid to the region, but seem to be getting nothing in return. Contrary to what our President has said, terrorism exists, it is spreading, and it will try to crush democracy wherever it tries to spring up.

Our President praises the democracy that has spread in Egypt. Here’s a link to a State Department release titled “U.S. Government Assistance to Egypt,” which states…

In addition, since the revolution, the United States has provided $90 million for democratic development and $100 million for economic recovery.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the most powerful political group in Egypt. Through their “democratic” elections, they have gained power. An article in the New York Times here talks about the Muslim Brotherhood as “A religious and anticolonialist movement that became the wellspring of Islamist ideologies around the world.” We’ve sent money to these guys. Our State Department SAYS that the money went towards; “conducting elections,” “engaging youth,” “strengthening independent labor organizations,” “protecting human rights,” “economic recovery,” “creating jobs,” “supporting entreprenuers,” AND FINALLY, “promoting women business owners.” Those are all great causes, but did our money ACTUALLY go towards those goals?

The same New York Times article highlights some of the Muslim Brotherhood’s recent history as inconsistent, “Initially, the Brotherhood said it would not run a candidate for president, then changed its mind. During the campaign, Mr. Morsi gave assurances that he would protect the rights of women and include them in decision making. He promised to appoint a woman as a vice president but did not.” The Brotherhood clearly has taken our “government assistance” into consideration for how they conduct themselves. The NYT article goes on to suggest a link between Al-Qa’ida and the Muslim Brotherhood on a conceptual level, “American politicians and pundits have used the Brotherhood as a sort of boogeyman, tagging it as a radical menace and the grandfather of Al Qaeda. That lineage is accurate in a literal sense: some Qaeda leaders, notably the terrorist network’s Egyptian second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahri, have roots in the organization.”

Business as usual for Barack Obama. He is known to be a close friend of Bill Ayers, co-founder of the Weather Underground, a self proclaimed COMMUNIST REVOLUTIONARY GROUP!

America frees other countries

Submitted 10/22:

If any of you saw the debate tonight I felt one of Romney’s best lines was his correction of Obama’s saying that ‘America dictates to other countries’ by stating,” No, Americans do not dictate to other countries, America frees other countries from dictators”. Oh, and how about Obama’s rude remark that the military had changed and we did not use bayonets or horses any longer….well, it was all said by the marine who tweeted that no, we still do use bayonets…….sorry Obama, maybe you are the one who needs to see how the military has changed, hey, maybe if you attended more of your foreign affairs updates you might have known that as our soon to be replaced commander in chief…..
